Nobody’s come up with rules like that so far, but if you figure any out please send them here so I can post them! :)

My Borogove cards came in the mail today and OH GOSH! They are gorgeous. I had expected them to be nice after seeing the card designs, but seeing them on the cards is even better!
A player needed some rules clarified, and provided this handy video! I will be making a “how to play Borogove” video at some point, so hopefully anybody with questions on gameplay will have their questions answered by that!
About the video: With the scenario that’s been set up, the second player can play all those thrice-wise cards, but they wouldn’t be able to go and add the twonsie jabberwock on top of that, since the original card was neither a jabberwock nor a twonsie!
As for te 0 cards, those are the Footmen cards and I created them to act as Jokers, so they could be incorporated into House Rules if anybody thought of a way to add them into the game.
Quick question
“When you hedger gimbles due to not having the right suit or number, do you draw a single gimble or do you keep drawing until you get a gimble you can play?”
Whatever works for you! Either way is valid, as long as everybody agrees to the rule and sticks to it for the whole game.
My intention with the game is that the rules, much like Wonderland itself, aren’t super strict and can change if you find a different rule! This is why I have a section for “House Rules” and hope to fill it up with alternate ways of playing Borogove!

It’s similar to Crazy Eights and Uno, with 54 specially illustrated cards, specialized Carroll-esque terminology, and 13 suits of 4 cards rather than 4 suits of 13 cards! It’s a little topsy-turvy, like all Wonderland things. : )
Borogove Kickstarter orders are starting to go out the door, slowly but surely! 25 orders went out a few days ago and about 40 are going to go out tomorrow.
Between mailing these and Wondercon, ECCC, and Stumptown coming up in the next few weeks, Skin Deep might be going on another short hiatus. I’m really sorry about that, I was hoping that these would all arrive when I scheduled my first hiatus, but it didn’t work out that way. Oh well, I’m learning! I hope you all understand!
Here is a grainy-ass webcam photo of the very first Borogove shipment! These are all the high-tier orders, the ones with the posters, so they go in my fancy poster tubes that I hope to hell don’t get crushed to crap while in transit. Oh PLEASE make all of them arrive at their destinations safely. I can’t wait to breathe easy when all the Kickstarter orders are shipped yaaaaay.
